FINSA, in the Western Spain province of Galicia, is among other things a large packaging sawmiller which produces mostly packaging material. Its Santiago de Compostela sawmill has seen the addition of a slanted log carriage and bandmill to process larger logs.

Larchlap, a Scotland-based company, is the largest producer of garden and fencing products in the UK. Its Lockerbie mill has a sawmill producing approximately 80.000 m3 per annum. Most of this is fencing material.

Flight Group is located in New-Zealand, where it transforms radiata pine, mostly to supply the construction industry.
