The Picos de Urbion sawmill, near Soria, in Northern Spain, cuts pine timber for pallet and packaging markets.

From now on, it will use its new "custom-made" board stacker engineered, manufactured and installed by CIRIS Engineering.

This stacker can stack 2 or 3 layers at a time, in one cycle, including automatic stickers placing. Reducing 2 or 3 times the number of cycles required by the stacker has allowed to process the full output of the upstream gang saw, and as well reduce wear and tear on the equipment itself.
